「アップデートマネージャー」を起動し、すべてのソフトウェアをアップデートしておきます。

アップグレードの失敗に備え、バックアップを作成しておきます。
デフォルトでインストールされている「Timeshift」を利用すれば、簡単にシステムのバックアップを作成できます。

「アップデートマネージャー」を起動し、「編集」メニューから「Upgrade to Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia」をクリックします。

*パッケージの追加インストール [#uf1ee0cb]
「Linux Mint 19.3」では、新しいアプリがデフォルトのアプリとして採用されています。
それらのアプリをインストールするには、以下のコマンドを実行します。
 apt install celluloid gnote drawing neofetch

システムレポートで、"Add the XApp Status applet" The XApp Status applet allows applications to provide a tray icon without rendering glitches and with support for HiDPI and symbolic icons. Right-click the panel and choose 'Add to Panel'とでるが、そもそも右クリックしてもそんなメニューが出ない。VNC接続だからか？よくわからない。
